Lately I’ve been going through old bins, folders, and cardboard boxes of all kinds of family history-related items I collected as a teenager. For a while, I was asking anybody and everybody for information, photos, stories, anything they might have.

Now I’m in the process of digitizing all of this. And in the process, I found this gem above.

This is my great-grandma’s oldest sibling Dennis Beaser, who was born on Jan. 23, 1889 in Williamsville, NY. He was the son of Andrew Beaser and Magdalena Klein.

Dennis lived to be 75 years old, passing away on March 17, 1964 in Buffalo.

I added some colorization as this was a black and white photo copy that someone made for me (don’t have the original photo). It most likely came from my great-grandma’s sister Eleanor, whose son did a lot of family history research and sent me all kinds of info and photos. This would have been her brother.

I’m sure I’ll come across more gems.
