I'm 26 years old and a proud Buffalo, New York native (also part Canadian).

Passionate about tech/journalism, social media, hockey, and genealogy, I also enjoy
meeting new people and helping others. Additional interests include history, politics,
traveling, and spending time with my family.

I've kept close tabs on the evolution of the journalism industry, particularly the shift
toward online and social media. I'm especially interested in Twitter and its applications,
and founded the Web sites Breaking Tweets and Twitter Journalism.

I now work with The Huffington Post as senior editor of big news & live events.

And I'm also an avid sports fan. Some of my favorite teams are the Buffalo Sabres,
Buffalo Bills, New York Yankees, and Vancouver Canucks.
